We guide young people to learn to become the creators of their own lives.
In all possible "futures", those successful will be the ones who explore their potential and learn to self-improve, collaborate with other generations and actively seek opportunities to contribute to the transformation of humanity for the well-being of present and future generations.
AUTHENTICITY
We believe in inner strength and the desire for self-improvement, because the successful individual creates opportunities for growth every day, lives constantly out of the ordinary, and is the only one responsible for who he becomes.
We do not wear masks or play roles to the likes of those around us, because we appreciate people for what they are and not for what they claim to be. We create educational trends and strive to be better tomorrow than we were today.
INTEGRITY
We feel that we are and can live in harmony with our principles and values that make our lives serene every day. We believe that it is worth the effort to stay in line with our personal values in order to constantly enjoy being who we really are. We are aware of the reality and the opportunities we have at hand, we constantly expose ourselves to challenges of all kinds and, at the same time, we protect our own saboteurs and fears.
FREEDOM
Striving to make the positive choices, right decisions, creative actions and coherent promotion of values has lead us to be aware of the direct effect they have on the fundamental, fragile and essential right that people can easily lose. The more we allow ourselves to do things, the more we feel that we have autonomy. The feeling of autonomy increases the quality of self-motivation and reduces personal feelings of dissatisfaction. We strive to keep high the level of autonomy we perceive as directly proportional to high levels of imagination, responsibility, creativity, concern for innovation, learning and collaboration.
COURAGE
We consider this adaptive value to be primarily the ability to anticipate risks and discern them accurately. Consciousness, determination and perseverance lead us to success guided by reason, integrity and dignity. We get emotional in the process of promoting the values we believe in. We are enthusiastic, we let ourselves be positively challenged and energized by our collaborators and partners. With authenticity, honesty and intrinsic power we throw ourselves into the fight's whirlwind to achieve our goals.
One of the most difficult aspects of value-based education is the inability to understand the importance of lifelong learning, starting from childhood. Effective learning is a practice based on examples, through trial and error. When surrounded by diverse people, youngsters can learn to identify lifelong learning patterns, driven by dedication and curiosity. In other words, value-based lifelong learning allows young people to understand how to actively learn from parents, teachers, mentors, influencers, instructors, practically, from anyone with whom they interact throughout their lives.

The emphasis on the character, personality and spirit development, as well as active citizenship , creates the language of values, introduces ethical vocabulary, improves emotional intelligence, strengthens interpersonal relationships, induces the notion of cohesion and social inclusion and promotes the creation of a culture centered on healthy values. In other words, all of this contributes positively to the inner world of thoughts, feelings, sensations and emotions of individuals who have this type of education. Thus, the community it facilitates becomes more reflective, agile and harmonious. Values-centered education endows young people, teachers and their parents with a greater personal responsibility for the educational act as a whole.
The educational philosophy of Scoala de Valori implies a holistic approach to the educational path. This means that it offers young people and their teachers experiences of unlearning dysfunctional beliefs and behaviors and relearning notions that focus on identifying their individual potential and developing the ability to work collaboratively and multidisciplinary in order to transform Romania into a society centered on healthy values.
